Our Summer!!

The year just goes by so fast. It's already going to be October and time for Halloween. Well where to start the summer started out kind of crappy with my Grandma Rae passing away right before Memorial Day. We had Her funeral at the church, it was a beautiful service, then down to Park Valley. It was nice to see family that I hadn't seen in a long time my cousins from Salt Lake came up and the ones from California too. But it was hard to lose my Grandma she was always here for everything and I will miss her very much. I Love you Grandma!!

Then Greg's Grandma passes away in June. That was very hard. His Grandma was such a sweet Grandma, Kaydn loved to visit her. The services where very beautiful and all of the wonderful stories and memories shared. And once again we got to visit with family we hadn't seen for a while. We Love her and Will miss You Very much Grandma Jensen. So needless to say we have had a lot of loss this summer.

We finally get to go on a campout to the Gillett reunion up to Fairfeild area for the Fourth of July. It was lots of fun. We played in the hot springs that run into the river and the kids got to shot the BB guns. Kaydn learned to ride his bike kinda(thanks to Aunt Kassie). Everyone had lots of fun. We came home just in time for the parade and fireworks. Lots of fun.

Then one more reunion for the summer the Robbs reunion down on Park Valley. We went down and got to see some more relative we hadn't seen since Grandma's funeral. Uncle Rae was there and Aunt Jeanie. It's always fun to see them. after the BBQ and Pictures, we went to the house where Grandma grew up and wondered around and took pictures. Of course we heard some stories of the old place. It was a good time. Then back to Rupert for the same old same old.

We also had some new family pictures taken by my neice Tiffany. Thank you so much they are awesome! She takes such good photos. We had fun down at Shoshone Falls in Twin doing them.

After all of this fun it was time to get ready for Fair. It started Aug 1st Maceys pig looked good. She had fun with her project. Brianna had a nice looking pig too. Jalynn we were not sure of hers would make weight and we were right it didn't but she had fun taking it to fair and showing it. That's all that counts. They all did really good and had fun! Macey got 2 blue ribbon's, one for showmanship and one for quality.

Now the kids are back in school and summers over and fall begins. What will it bring? Let's hope GOOd things. This year has been another challenging one but we made it through. What doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. So I should be pretty darn strong even though I feel pretty darn weak and tired most of the time.

Well the year is going by fast. It's already the end of March and spring break is over. The year is going good. We have all been really busy, Greg's been working and they've been busy.

Macey's doing gymnastics on Tuesdays which keeps us busy and she had her just for fun meet in January. This is always fun for her cuz she gets to show us what she has learned on the first part of the year. she has learned a lot and is doing awesome!

Then the next week my brother and sisters from California came out cuz my Mom had some surgery. It was nice to have the whole family together again. Even though it wasn't a fun time. But we did manage to get some good laughs in and have some fun while they where here. I do miss them and wish we could see them a little more often.

Kaydn started wrestling in March. He wasn't sure at first. But I think he likes it now. He especially likes the tournaments, when he can wrestle the kids his own size in matches. At the last one at Minico he got a Bronze metal and he even pinned some one. He was so excited.

We also just went and got the 4H pigs today. They are so cute! The girls had fun picking them out and deciding names for them. Macey named hers STEWY! Brianna's is DOPEY! Jalynn's named hers BILLY! We got 2 Hampshire(black and white) and 1 Duroc (brown).

We also have a new niece in our family to welcome little Addilyn! Congrats to Stan and Brandy on their beautiful baby girl! We can't wait to see her. Now we are just waiting for Tiff and Chad to have their little girl! We can't wait to see her either, she's a little stubborn and is going to come when she is ready.

We will keep you posted on the pigs we weigh them in two weeks. Kaydn has another wrestling match next week so we will let ya know how that goes. Here are some pics from the last couple months!! ENJOY!!

2010 What a Year!

Ok so I am new to blogging, but my sister in law and neice told me to start a blog so here goes. This is my new years resolution to keep this blog as up to date as possible. We will start out with last year what a sucky year, we will go thru the good times. We are hoping for a better year in 2011. Macey did a pig in 4H. That was alot of fun we got the little guy in march. He was so cute! But of course if Macey has a pig then Kaydn needs a pig, her name was Charlote and Macey's was Slim Shady he was black and white. We have a very busy summer! From weddings to family reunions to baseball. All of it was fun but really wears me out. Lacey started the summer out with her wedding, which was beautiful. Then with my family we do a campout this was at Sublett. It rained alot but was still fun. Greg taught all the kids how to shot the BB gun Kaydn got for his birthday. We were in charge of planning the reunion for Gregs family this year with Darwin and Sandy. It's alot of work but I think everyone had fun. We went to Bear Gulch. It is a very beautiful place and was new to most of us. Then we had my Grandmas family reunion at Walcott Park. That was the same day as Heathers wedding on the river and was beautiful. Macey was Heathers Flower Girl! She was so Pretty and had alot of fun with Kelson throwing flowers at him. Then comes the fair in August that was a lot of hard work, but alot of fun! Macey did a good job, she got a blue ribbon in showmanship and got to show for grand champion in quality. However she did not win but I would say for her first year that is awesome. Then not to long after that we start school, Kaydn is now in kindergarten and Macey in 4th grade. Boy does time fly it just seems like yesterday they were both babies. They both like school, it's alittle tough on mom to get them up and ready by 7:15 to catch the bus, but we have only missed it once so far this year. Kaydn is a little GIRL crazy not anything like his Dad. Then the year goes by fast Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all here and gone before you know it! We rang in the New Year at Janet and Kevin's with the family. Enjoying good food, fun, and good company. The new year has started out good we will see what it brings!!
